Meet The Person Behind The Documentation

This website brings together selected examples from my work in documentation transformation, developer documentation, information architecture, content strategy, and AI-assisted documentation operations.

The work spans almost three decades and includes executive briefs, case studies, articles, and public examples that explore both the outcomes delivered and the decisions behind them.

If you’re visiting for the first time, the Reading Guide suggests several ways to explore the site based on your interests.

Professional Focus

Documentation is rarely the problem.

I’m Michelle Wright, a technical communicator specialising in developer documentation, documentation transformation, information architecture, and content strategy. I’ve worked in technical communication since 1996, helping organisations improve how complex information is structured, maintained, and delivered.

This body of work brings together selected examples from that experience. It includes executive briefs, case studies, articles, and public examples that explore not only what was delivered, but the decisions, constraints, and thinking behind the work.

Whether redesigning documentation ecosystems, improving developer experience, or introducing AI-assisted documentation workflows, my focus remains the same: creating information that is clear, sustainable, and genuinely useful to the people who rely on it.
